Party at the Pendleton's - Anna Style

While my Mom, Dad and Sister are on a two week church history trip, Jer and I are lucky enough to have Annie Buddah staying with us! I hope she is as delighted to be here as we are to have her! We have spent almost a week together and have had an action-packed past few days. Here are some highlights.
We tried some new recipes! This is Cooking Light Zucchini-Bacon quiche. Very delish and we used the zucchini from our parents' garden.
Gina's Skinny recipe: Chewy Oatmeal Banana cookies (we added choc. chips :o))
Sleepover with Tay and Becca! (Two of Jer's darling little sisters) Here they are sitting in Anna's room. (Our second bedroom.)
Blueberry pancakes with Magleby's syrup! Pancake recipe compliments of my Dad, Donald Scott Houston.
Here's Jer helping with the syrup! Good Morning!
7 Peaks! We got a killer deal on passes. We had such a fun day. The girls ended up trading their single tubes for a triple so they could go faster on the rides.
Sally and Mr. Bennett came too! Love them.
Some post 7 peaks tunes waiting for her turn in the shower.
BBQ at Vivian park with friends! I just adore all these people so much!
Movie night! With LOTS of treats. (Thanks Dianna!) We also got a few things using my very limited but exciting couponing skills.
Me with Mr. Tan-Pants in our BYU gear ready for the movie. Jer has been working SO hard this summer. He is doing a great job selling pest control for Bio-Guard but he works long days! Its so nice when we finally get him home. :o)

Long walk about town and FREE Red Mango. That's right, ladies and gentleman. Completely free. They are sending out some ridiculous coupons in the mail, and I would highly recommend the smoothies. Pretty delicious. Anna and I walked over 3 miles we are guessing. We walked from our house over by the mall to do a little shopping for crafty items and Ross deals (which we had no trouble finding :o))

Singin' in the Rain at the Scera Outdoor Theater. Courtney and her baby Harper joined us and the boys even showed up a little later on. The play was really fun.
 Basking on blankets.
4th of July hair accessories. We found lots of fun patterns online for headbands. When we were at JoAnn's, Anna spotted this perfect patriotic fabric and suggested we make some accessories for our 4th festivities. I think they turned out pretty cute.

Well there you have it! The first 5 days of Anna's stay in a nutshell. Anna also attended the classes I teach and even took the Jazz class. We also took Yoga one night this week which was a new experience for us both and we really liked it! Stay tuned for the next installment of Party at the Pendleton's - Anna Style.
