Our anniversary is actually coming up this Saturday, July 13th but this weekend is busy and since we got a couple days off work for the 4th, we thought we'd take advantage of that and celebrate! We spent the weekend in Park City relaxing and having fun. Here are a few pictures:
We started off by seeing a matinee of World War Z. It was really good! Both loved it.
Next was our traditional spot for anniversary dinner: Cheesecake Factory.
Avocado egg rolls.
Always share the chicken and biscuits!
We headed up to Deer Valley to stay at the dreamy Chateaux. It was such a nice and cozy hotel and has great rates during the summer season.
Too much good food! This was #3 on Park City's top restaurants for Breakfast.
Found some Christmas jammies for Scotty. Unfortunately, they didn't have any small enough for him, 6 months was the smallest.
Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory: we saw at least 4 different ones this weekend.
Obligatory photos with the moose and bear on Main Street.
On the Flying Eagle zipline at Park City Mountain Resort. Not really all it was hyped up to be but still fun.
Alpine slides! Who says pregnant ladies can't do anything fun?!
My handsome man.
He made it to the bottom in record time.
We made a quick visit to the Olympic Park to watch some of the ski jumpers and check out their museum. If you look closely you can see one of the jumpers in the air. So cool!
We then headed to the outlets for some shopping and then went back to Provo for one more movie. After Earth. It was ok, but our 3rd choice because our first two were already sold out (thanks dollar theater! haha)
Jer and I talked a lot about the things we have learned in the past year together, we feel closer than ever and understand each other more and more each day. It makes us excited for the future and especially to welcome our sweet new baby into our family. It really is just the beginning! Excited for forever!
